The theory in this course has to be studied online before attending the live onsite days. The live days will start with a Q&A of one hour. The rest of the days are fully filled with hands on practical training and completing assignments.

FBS Basic Course

Format: On-site

Preparation: 24 hours online

Overview: In this course the theory of training strength and coordination is discussed, as described in the book. Classical strength training is based on mechanical principles, both within sport and within rehabilitation. This does not do justice to the complexity of the development of training effects, which are mainly structured according to the principles of motor control and motor learning. In this course you will learn the tools to tailor strength and coordination training to the individual and the sport-specific setting. Frans Bosch uses an integrative holistic approach in training, in which training is more than the individual components such as strength, speed, endurance, agility and coordination.

Who it's for: The course is developed for coaches, physiotherapists, PE teachers and other professionals in sport who want to gain a deep understanding of complex non-linear dynamics in sport and training.
