FBS Exercise App

The FBS Exercise App  provides access to a structured library of high-quality exercise videos, grounded in the Frans Bosch Systems philosophy.

Developed from decades of applied work in elite sport, this approach is based on how movement is organised under real conditions, not how it appears in isolation. It has been adopted across high-performance environments because it consistently translates training into outcomes.

Designed for fitness and sport professionals working at a high level, including strength and conditioning coaches, therapists and experienced practitioners.

The FBS Exercise App uses the building block approach to help coaches design effective training programs.

Optimise movement

The FBS Exercise App organises exercises according to levels of self-organisation, from individual muscle contribution through to local and global attractors, total movement patterns, and phase transitions or attractor conflicts.

This reflects how movement is structured in sport. Rather than grouping exercises solely by body part or equipment, the app shows where each exercise sits within dynamic systems theory and how it contributes to the overall movement outcome.

This supports more informed exercise selection, clearer progression, and programming aligned with how movement develops under load and variability.

Transferable performance

“What happens in the gym stays in the gym” remains a limitation in many training environments.

The FBS approach addresses this by integrating gym-based and field-based work within the same framework. The app allows you to explore attractors in multiple settings, selecting exercises that reflect the demands of your coaching context.

This ensures training contributes directly to performance, rather than remaining isolated.

Support learning and adaption

Over-coaching often comes from trying to control movement too closely or providing too much information at once.

The FBS Exercise App applies motor learning principles to each exercise, including clear task intentions, defined end points, Knowledge of Result (KR) and practical coaching cues.

This supports more effective coaching, where feedback is deliberate and athletes or clients self-develop solutions they can retain and reproduce under changing conditions.

Overcome limits

Identifying the errors in movement is one thing... programming appropriate training interventions is another.

With the FBS Exercise App, coaches can search and save the exercises they need for each athlete. Detailed descriptions and training outcomes are provided for each exercise, making the FBS Exercise App the ultimate training tool for innovative coaches.
